Gettysburg Rising is a group of local residents who aim to encourage civic engagement, provide fact-based information, and support policies and legislation that best serve this region.
We were founded in January 2017 and we meet monthly to encourage civic engagement and hold other community events on an as needed basis. Check our calendar frequently for updates!

Gettysburg Rising Coat Drive Featured in Gettysburg Times Column

Gettysburg Times columnist, John Messeder, wrote about the Gettysburg Rising coat drive in a December 10 column. Generous Gettysburg Rising members contributed almost 80 winter coats and jackets, as well as hats and gloves, for children and teens in partnership with Manos Unidas, which distributed the clothing before Christmas.

Family Separation Policy Galvanizes Donation Drive and Immigration Forums
